So I'm about to embark on a journey to mod my USKOC with DJ Dao buttons and LEDs. I will update the thread accordingly and I hope to be done in the next month. My goal is to have it switchable from 1p to 2p side just as easily as standard KOC. Wish me luck!

Ok, so after about an hour with a multimeter and an open KOC, I found where all the buttons go and uh made a diagram.

Also, the DJ Dao board being used for light power over USB:
Okay so I have it pretty much all planned out in my mind:
Okay so the original IIDX buttons board will be kept, but moved to the very bottom of the new box the buttons will be inside, the connector on the turntable of the controller will go down with it, but still be slideable.
Alongside the original connector, there will be a standard USB-A plug that can plug in to both sides of the button box for power to the LEDs in the buttons. The USB to the system will be connected via a USB-B port where the foot pedal jack is right now, making the LEDs optional, and to make it cleaner.
The USB +5V will be wired into the DJDao PS2 PCB just as it normally would, and all buttons will be connected using the same method as used in an FP7, except the line that tells the board when the button is pressed will be soldered onto the points above for the different buttons.
The buttons will be mounted on a 1/4" piece of plywood directly under where the normal buttons are, and a 1" (I think that's the size) hole in the center of each one for the buttons to be mounted.
GIANT WALL OF TEXT OVER FOR TODAY
PROJECT DELAYED UNTIL I GET MONEY TO BUY THE DARN BUTTONS
